Directions: Dal Chawal Dhokla Cheesy Bites, Dhokla Sandwich And Tadka Dhokla Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak the lentils and rice in water for 4-5 hours. Drain and blend them into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add yogurt, ginger-green chili paste, turmeric powder, salt, and sugar to the batter. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Grease a steamer plate and pour the batter into it. Steam for 15-20 minutes or until cooked.
  • STEP 4.Remove from the steamer and let it cool. Cut the dhokla into bite-sized pieces.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and green chilies.
  • STEP 6.Add the bite-sized dhokla pieces to the pan and toss gently. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • STEP 7.Cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
