STEP 1.Marinate the fish pieces with salt and turmeric powder and keep aside.
STEP 2.Heat some oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces till they are perfectly cooked and crispy.
STEP 3.Mix curd and water in a bowl to make buttermilk and keep aside for further use.

STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and black cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
STEP 2.Next, add chopped onions followed by green chillies and saute till they are translucent.
STEP 3.Next, add garlic paste along with salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and saute till the raw smell disappears.
STEP 4.Add mustard paste to the fried ingredients and mix well to incorporate.
STEP 5.Next, add the prepared buttermilk and stir.
STEP 6.Finally, add the fried fish pieces, cumin paste and some mustard oil. Cover and cook for five minutes and voila!
Storage And Serving Method
STEP 1.Serve the dish topped with some chopped coriander leaves along with steamed rice.
