  • STEP 1.Cut the leftover idlis into bite-sized pieces.
  • STEP 2.Whisk yogurt with water to make a smooth mixture.
  • STEP 3.Add salt, sugar, and spices like red chili powder and roasted cumin powder to the yogurt mixture.
  • STEP 4.Soak the idli pieces in the yogurt mixture for about 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 5.In a small pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red chili powder for tempering.
