  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 Ridge Gourd, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1 cloves Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the lentils for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the lentils until soft.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, garlic, and onions. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped ridge gourd and cook until tender.
  • STEP 5.Add the cooked lentils, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
