Ingredients for Daal makhni Recipe

  • 0.19 cup Whole urad
  • 1/2 tbsp rajma
  • to taste Salt
  • 3/4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 g reen chilies
  • A Stem A small piece cinnamon
  • 0.13 cup Finely chopped onions
  • 0.13 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.13 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 0.06 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.13 cup Malai

Directions: Daal Makhni Recipe

  • STEP 1.1 First clean,wash and soak urad daal and rajma overnight.
  • STEP 2.2 Drain,add 2 cup water,salt and cook till the daals are cooked well.
  • STEP 3.3 Open the lid after the steam escape .
  • STEP 4.4 Mash the daal properly.
  • STEP 5.5 For tempering , heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • STEP 6.6 Add,onion, green chilies and cinnamon.
  • STEP 7.7 Saute till golden brown.
  • STEP 8.8 Add ginger garlic paste, Chilli powder and turmeric powder and tomato puree.
  • STEP 9.9 Cook for a .while
  • STEP 10.10.Add daal,water according to need and cook on sim flame for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 11.11 Serve daal makhni hot garnished with malai
