Ingredients for Daab Chingri Recipe

  • 133.33 g Large size prawns
  • 0.33 Cup Chopped onions
  • 0.67 Tbsp Scraped coconut
  • 0.67 Tbsp Tender malai
  • 0.33 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • A Few Green chillies
  • 0.33 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.33 Tsp Panchforon
  • To Taste Salt
  • 0.67 Tbsp Mustard oil
  • 0.33 Cup Coconut milk
  • 0.33 Cup Scraped coconut

Directions: Daab Chingri Recipe

  • STEP 1.1) Wash prawns and marinate with haldi powder and salt, keep aside.
  • STEP 2.2) Now take a pan add mustard oil, then add prawns into the pan and saute for few minutes. Keep aside.
  • STEP 3.3) Now add oil, then add panchforon, green chillies, saute well. Now add chopped onions, scraped coconut, ginger garlic paste,mix well. Then add fried prawns into it and cook on low flame.
  • STEP 4.4) Now add tender daab malai and coconut milk, mix well and add some salt. Take a tender coconut ( daab) make a whole and pour this prawn gravy into the daab. Seal the hole using wheat atta dough.
  • STEP 5.5) Grill it for 30 minutes at 180°c. Daab chingri is ready.
