  • 200 gram Prawns
  • 1 cup Coconut Water
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic ginger Green Chili paste
  • 2 Whole Green Chilli
  • 1 Onion paste larger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • As required salt
  • 2 tablespoon White oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder

How to Make Daab Chingri Recipe

STEP 01

Cut any of the head of the tender coconut in bigger circumference than normal. Wash the inside , keep aside

STEP 02

Heat the pan with oil and fry the prawns, keep it aside. Add the onion paste to fry till light brown

STEP 03

Add the paste of ginger garlic and green chilies, cook for few seconds

STEP 04

Add the coconut paste and mix well. Add turmeric powder,coriander powder and kashmiri red chili powder

STEP 05

Add the tomato paste and cook until the oil separates. Add salt to taste and garam masala powder, mix well

STEP 06

Add some normal water and the prawns, cook for 5 minutes and add green chilies

STEP 07

Add the tender coconut water to make gravy and cook for 5 minutes. Now add the prawn curry in the tender coconut

STEP 08

In a pressure cooker add water and place the bowl below. Place the tender coconut over the bowl and cook till 5 whistles
