Ingredients for Custard Powder Cookies Recipe

  • 150 gram Maida / All purpose flour
  • 100 gram Icing sugar or Powdered Sugar
  • 125 gram Butter
  • 6 tablespoon custard powder
  • 1 No.s Egg
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar

Directions: Custard Powder Cookies Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Take 8 tsp butter in a bowl and gradually add 8tsp icing sugar. Combine and add a pinch of salt, 1tsp vanilla essence, 1 egg and mix well.
  • STEP 2.Add 6 tsp custard powder and mix well to prepare a soft dough. Let it rest for 10 mins.
  • STEP 3.Make small balls with the dough and gently press the balls with your palm to shape the cookies. Roll the cookies on sugar then slightly press the cookies with the fork to make an impression on them.
  • STEP 4.Place butter paper on a plate and place the cookies on it. If you are using the oven for baking then preheat at 160 degrees.
  • STEP 5.Bake for 15 minutes at 170 degrees. Time will differ according to each oven so remember to check after 10 minutes.
  • STEP 6.When baked well, remove from the oven and allow to cool. Remove from the butter paper and keep them in an airtight container.
