  • 1/2 Green Chilies
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.13 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Urad Dal
  • 1/4 Dried Red Chili
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt
  • As required Salt To Taste

  • STEP 1.Wash and clean a handful of curry leaves.
  • STEP 2.In a blender, add the curry leaves, grated coconut, green chili, cumin seeds, and a little water. Blend until smooth.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and dried red chili. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 4.Add the blended curry leaves mixture to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.In a separate bowl, whisk yogurt with salt and add it to the pan. Mix well and cook for another minute.
  • STEP 6.Remove from heat and serve the curry leaves tambuli as a side dish with rice or as a refreshing drink.
  • STEP 7.Cooking Tips: Adjust the spiciness by adding more or fewer green chilies. You can also add a pinch of asafoetida for additional flavor.
