An alternative to plain Sandwich which is popular among kids and is healthy. It is prepared from curd, carrot, capsicum, cabbage and mayonnaise. Seasoned with salt and black pepper.

Ingredients for Curd Sandwich Recipe

  • 0.38 cup thick curd
  • 0.13 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper crushed
  • 0.13 cup carrot, finely chopped
  • As required Salt
  • 0.13 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 0.13 cup capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 0.13 cup Corn
  • 3 No.s sliced bread
  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds

Directions: Curd Sandwich Recipe

For Spread

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl take curd, add mayonnaise sauce(optional).
  • STEP 2.Add crushed Pepper.
  • STEP 3.Sprinkle some salt to taste. and give a good mix.
  • STEP 4.Now add finely chopped carrot, cabbage and capsicum.
  • STEP 5.Add some corn and ginger..
  • STEP 6.Mix everything well and keep it aside.

For Sandwich

  • STEP 1.Take sandwich bread and cut the edges.
  • STEP 2.Now spread the prepared sandwich spread on one side of the bread slice.
  • STEP 3.Cover and press with another bread slice over it.
  • STEP 4.Heat a pan or use a sandwich maker. add some butter, add some sesame seeds.
  • STEP 5.Now place the sandwich on the pan and grill until both the sides are golden brown in color.
  • STEP 6.Remove the sandwich from the pan and cut in half.
  • STEP 7.Serve on a plate and enjoy
