It's a aloo tikki made with left over dry aloo ki sabji and thick channa daal,and left over cheese cubes are used to make it's crown .served with mint flavoured hung curd dip
Ingredients for Crunchy aloo tikki with cheesy crown Recipe
1/2 Cups aloo ki sabji
1/2 Pieces cheese cubes
0.13 Cup channa daal
1/2 Tbsp Aamchur powder
1/2 Tbsp Anardana
1/2 Tbsp Garlic paste
1/2 Tbsp Green chillies paste
To Taste Salt
1/2 Tbsp Chopped coriander
0.13 Cup Bread crumbs
0.13 Cup Grated raw beetroot
0.13 Cup Hung curd
1/4 Tsp Black pepper powder
To Taste Salt
1/2 Tsp Mint leaves chopped
0.13 Cup Oil
Directions: Crunchy Aloo Tikki With Cheesy Crown Recipe
STEP 1.Firstly make cheesy crowns for that grate cheese in a circular form on low flame on a non stick tawa ,as soon as the cheese begins to caramalise take the caramalised form of cheese which looks like a dosa with spatula immediately put it on a glass arranged upside
STEP 2.Now press it softly on top of glass leave it aside for 5 minutes,then take it from glass ,it will get hard and crowns are ready
STEP 3.Now in a pan heat 2 tbsp oil add garlic green chillies paste,to this add channa daal saute it on low flame for 5 minutes,let it get dried
STEP 4.Now add amchur powder and anardana powder then add salt to taste then add dry aloo ki sabji and saute it for 10 minutes on low flame then switch off the flame
STEP 5.Now let this mixture come on room temperature,then add bread crumbs,grated beetroot,chopped coriander ,mash everything properly .make tikkis out of it
STEP 6.Shallow fry this tikkis till golden brown in oil
STEP 7.Now in other bowl mix hung curd,salt to taste,chopped mint leaves ,black pepper powder ,to prepare dip
STEP 8.For serving in a dish take aloo ki tikkis ,pour hung curd dip 2 tbsp on it,put cheesy crowns on it .serve it
