Ingredients for Crispy Potato Egg Fritters Recipe

  • 200 gram Potatoes
  • 100 gram Carrots
  • 5 No.s Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice
  • As required Salt

Directions: Crispy Potato Egg Fritters Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a large mixing bowl place 200 grated potatoes, 100 gm grated carrot, 1 egg, ½ tsp chinese five spice powder, 2 tbsp plain flour, salt to taste and mix well.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 in a frying pan heat 2 tbsp oil on low to medium heat. Place a serving spoon of the mixture in the pan and make a hole in the centre of the mixture to make a ring.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 break an egg in the hole and fry on low to medium heat for 2 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 then gently turn the fritter over and fry on the other side for another 2 minutes.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 remove from the pan and serve hot.
