 This is an easy and quickly to make dish prepared with frying pork fats cubes also enjoyed with hokkien mee and bak chor me.Crispy pork lard is the key ingredient to many Chinese dishes such as KL Hokkien mee and Bak Chor mee in Malaysia and Singapore. Although high in calories, it is worth savouring the flavour. This is a recipe for crispy pork lard and clear pork lard oil.Taste is also good.

Ingredients for Crispy Pork Lard Recipe

  • 300 gram pork belly
  • 500 milliliter Water
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 Nos scallions

Directions: Crispy Pork Lard Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Cut pork fats into cubs

step 2

  • STEP 2.If using pork belly then remove the meat from fats and then cut fats into pieces

step 4

  • STEP 3.1.add water in a pot and bring it to a boil

step 5

  • STEP 4.2.then add ginger and scallions

step 6

  • STEP 5.3.now add pork fat pieces and give it a boil,once it starts boiling take out the pork fat pieces and rinse it under running water.

step 7

  • STEP 6.4.then add oil in a wok and heat it over medium flame

step 8

  • STEP 7.5.add boiled pork fat cubes and when it starts releasing oil turn the has at low flame and continue frying until they are golden brown
