You can use them to make parathas, tikkis, and even cutlets. In this recipe of oats cutlet, you have to do nothing but mix oats, carrots and other vegetables together to make a dough-like mixture, dip them in a flour slurry and deep-fry until crisp and golden. Yes, it is that easy, follow the recipe and treat yourself to delicious oats cutlets.

Ingredients for Crispy Oats Cutlet Recipe

  • 1 No.s Carrot
  • 2 No.s Boiled potato
  • As required Few coriander leaves
  • 1.25 cup Oats
  • 1/2 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon White Flour
  • 6 tablespoon Water

Steps To Prepare

  • STEP 1.In a big bowl and add potato(grated), carrot (grated) and oats. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • STEP 2.Add the spices, start with red chilli powder,cumin powder, pepper powder, coriander leaves and salt. Mix all the ingredients well and knead it into a dough.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Take a separate bowl and add white flour,pinch of salt, about 6 tbsp water and mix well.
  • STEP 2.Now pull out balls from the dough and flatten it by pressing it with hand. Dip the flattened cutlets into maida paste. After dipping, make sure they are well coated in the paste
  • STEP 3.Add 3 tbsp oil to a pan. Let it heat. Fry the flattened balls from both sides for 10 mins on medium flame.

Serving And Storage Method

  • STEP 1.Serve hot with tomato ketchup or dip of choice.
