A crispy ghee roast Dosa with kerala Style sambarn interesting and unique way making the traditional crisp dosa with clarified butter toppings. when compared to the traditional plain dosa recipe, there isn’t much difference apart from the ghee toppings. the recipe of ghee roast is an ideal morning breakfast recipe which can be served with any simple chutney or any chutney pudi.

  • 2 glass Gobindo bhog raw rice
  • 1/2 glass Normal raw rice
  • 1 glass Urad dal
  • 4 cup Channa
  • 2 slitted green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 cup Shredded coconut
  • As required Chopped onion and ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 red chilli
  • 5 curry leaves

Directions: Crispy Ghee Roast Dosa With Kerala Style Sambar Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Soak both of the raw rice and urad dal for 8 hrs

  • STEP 2.Grind the urad dal in the grinder

step 3

  • STEP 3.Grind both if the rice as well

step 4

  • STEP 4.Mix well both of them slowing in a bowl and cool it in a refrigerator for dosa

  • STEP 5.Fry the shredded coconut with chopped onion and ginger

  • STEP 6.Add 1tsp turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and cumin powder

  • STEP 7.Add 1 tbsp black pepper

  • STEP 8.Grind the fried spices into a paste for the sambar

  • STEP 9.Soak the chana for 8hrs

  • STEP 10.In a pressure cooker boil the channa , add salt to taste, green chilies and 1tsp turmeric powder in it

  • STEP 11.Heat 1 tbsp cooking oil in a cooking bowl , add 1tsp of mustard seeds, `1 dry red chili and 5 curry leaves let them pop.

  • STEP 12.Add the grinded paste for sumbar in the bowl followed by 1 cup of water, let it cook for 1 mins

  • STEP 13.Add the boil chana with spices in it from the pressure cooker now cook for 5 mins and it will be ready to serve with dosa

  • STEP 14.Heat the tawa , take 1cup of the cook grinded paste for dosa

  • STEP 15.Spread it well all over to make a thin layer of dosa

step 16

  • STEP 16.Add ⅓ tsp of ghee over it with food brush

step 17

  • STEP 17.After it turns light brown fold it over and it will be ready to serve with sambar
