Pan fried prawns that are coated in breadcrumbs and fried till crispy.These crispy fried shrimps with Panko can be eaten as an appetizer or just part of a weekend menu for a sumptuous family dinner. Fried shrimp and rice also go well together. All you have to make is a simple curry like lentil curry (dal) with spinach. Or flavor the rice as in lemon rice recipe with brown rice.

How to Make Crispy Breaded Prawns Recipe
Wash, peel and devein 1 lb prawns.
Pat the prawns dry with a kitchen towel. Keep aside.
1 fill all purpose flour in a plate. Keep ready.
2 whisk 1 egg in a bowl with a little water.keep ready
3 prepare a plate filled with panko bread crumbs. Keep ready.
4 first lightly coat both sides of each prawn by dipping in the flour and shaking off the excess.
5 next dip each prawn in the egg wash.
6 thirdly, coat each prawn in the panko bread crumbs on both sides.
7 preheat a pan on medium heat and add 3 tbsp oil.
8 add the prawns to the pan one at a time. Arrange them so that none of the prawns are overlapping on each other.
9 fry for 30 seconds on each side or till the prawns change colour to pink.
10 take the prawns out of the hot oil and place them on paper napkins to drain off the excess oil.
11 serve hot with a sweet and sour sauce or curried onions.
