Crispy deep fried beef with a sweet and peppery coating of honey, red chillies and ground pepper.Crispy Honey Beef with Snow Peas is the best way to get takeout, at home! Crispy beef sirloin is coated in cornstarch, pan-fried and tossed with an easy soy and honey sauce. Served with crisp snow peas, plenty of garlic, and green onion.

Ingredients for Crispy Beef In Honey Recipe

  • 300 gram Beef fillet
  • 2 No.s Spring onions
  • 2 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 20 No.s Coriander stems
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper
  • 1 No.s Red chili pepper
  • 4 tablespoon Corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Clear honey
  • As required Salt

Directions: Crispy Beef In Honey Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a large mixing bowl add 300 gm beef fillet sliced into thin strips, 4 tbsp cornflour and mix well to evenly coat the beef.

    • STEP 2.2 in a wok heat 1 ltr oil to smoking hot, and deep fry the beef for 8 to 10 minutes until crispy. Stir gently to separate the pieces of beef.

    • STEP 3.3 use a slotted spoon to remove and drain the beef.

    • STEP 4.4 in a frying pan heat 1 tbsp oil, add 2 cloves finely sliced garlic, 1 cm finely sliced ginger, 1 tsp coarse black pepper, 1 finely sliced red chili pepper and stir fry for a few seconds.

    • STEP 5.5 add the fried beef to the pan, add 2 tbsp clear honey, salt to taste and stir fry for a few seconds.

    step 7

    • STEP 6.6 add 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 20 stems coriander cut into 1 inch lengths, 2 finely sliced spring onions and stir together.

      • STEP 7.7 transfer to a dish and serve hot.
