  • As required Ingredients for baby corn masala
  • 20 Baby corns peeled
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoon Chaat masala powder
  • As required Salt
  • As required Ingredients for outer crust
  • 2 tablespoon Herbed butter
  • 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • As required Ingredients for slurry
  • 2 tablespoon All purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions: Crispy Babycorn Lollipops Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.To make baby corn masala,place 20 peeled baby corns on a plate. Squeeze 2 tbsp lemon juice 1tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder ,2 tsp chaat masala powder and toss them to mix well.

  • STEP 1.To make the outer crust, add 2tbsp herbed butter, ½ cup whole wheat flour, ½ cup all purpose flour in a mixing bowl. Crumble the butter and the flours and mix together well.

  • STEP 1.Add water as required and knead to make a firm dough. Let it rest.

  • STEP 1.To make the slurry,into a small mixing bowl add 2 tbsp all purpose flour, 1 tbsp water and mix well.

  • STEP 1.Dust a flat surface with flour and roll out the dough into a large circle. Then cut into strips.

  • STEP 1.Smear the slurry over the strips.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Roll each strip around a baby corn to form a spiral. Brush with milk to coat the crust and place in a baking tray.

  • STEP 1.Sprinkle with chaat masala powder and coat each baby corn with black sesame seeds.
