  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 cup Dark Chocolate Chopped
  • 3/4 cup Castor sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1.50 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 Eggs Large
  • 2 cup All purpose flour

  • 2 No.s Britannia cream cheese tubs
  • 1 No.s egg

Directions: Cream Cheese Brownie Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a large mixing bowl add 2 tubs of britannia cream cheese, ¼ cup castor sugar, ½ tsp vanilla extract and break in 1 large egg. Whisk together till stiff peaks are formed.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 place a saucepan on a double boiler ( a larger vessel filled with water put on the heat), add ½ cup unsalted butter, 2 cups dark chocolate chopped. Stir and melt the chocolate and butter till creamy and smooth. Remove the pan from the double boiler.

  • STEP 3.3 add ½ cup castor sugar to the chocolate butter mixture, add ¼ tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract, break in 2 large eggs, and add 2 cups all purpose flour. Mixtill all ingredients are well combined.

  • STEP 4.4 grease a baking pan by applying oil or butter all over the inside and then dusting with flour which will stick to the greased pan. Turn the pan over the sink and tap it to remove any excess flour.

  • STEP 5.5 pour some of the brownie mixture as the bottom layer and gently spread it out evenly.

  • STEP 6.6 next add the cream cheese layer and gently spread it out to cover the brownie layer.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 then add dollops of the remaining brownie mixture all over the top of the cream cheese and with a fork create swirls or any design.

  • STEP 8.8 preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or till brownies are done. To test whether the brownie is done, insert a knife into the centre, if it comes out clean without any crumbs then it is ready.

step 9

  • STEP 1.9 remove the brownie dish from the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Slice the cheesecake brownie and serve it warm.

step 10

  • STEP 9.10 cut and serve warm.
