  • 1.25 tbsp –milk

Directions: Cranberry Walnut Oats Bars: Easy Homemade Snack With Nuts Recipe

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a square baking tin with parchment paper. Leave a little space on the sides so it can be easily removed.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, add rolled oats and chopped walnuts. Lightly toast them over a low-medium flame for about 3 to 4 minutes. Let them cool down a bit.
  • STEP 3.In a bowl, mix honey, peanut butter, melted butter and vanilla extract to make a smooth mixture. Add cinnamon powder and a pinch of salt.
  • STEP 4.Now, add the toasted oats, walnuts and dried cranberries to this mixture. Mix well until everything is evenly covered. Add a little milk if the mixture feels a bit too dry.
  • STEP 5.Transfer the prepared mixture to the prepared tin and then press it down firmly in an even layer. Use the back of a spoon or a flat-bottomed glass to squeeze it well.
  • STEP 6.Bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes, until the edges turn a bit golden. Do not overbake if you want to get softer, chewier bars.
  • STEP 7.Let the baked mixture cool thoroughly in the tin and then lift it out. Cut into equal bars or squares and then store in an airtight jar.
