Ingredients for Cozido Recipe

  • 200 gram Pork ears
  • 100 gram Pork trotters
  • 400 gram Pork ribs
  • 300 gram Pork Belly
  • 5-6 piece Smoked sausages
  • 5-6 piece Chicken Drumsticks
  • 3 No.s Potatoes
  • 2-3 No.s Turnip
  • 4-5 No.s Carrots
  • 0.33 cup Cabbage
  • 1/4 cup Spinach

Directions: Cozido Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.To a large pan add pork ears, trotters, ribs and belly with the chicken drumsticks. Add water and salt, if needed.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Remove the pork and meat after boiling. Now, to the same water add potatoes, carrots and turnip and boil.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Remove the vegetables after boiling. To the same, add sausages, cabbage and spinach.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Boil the vegetables and meat. And remove them. Portuguese cozido is ready to be served.
