Ingredients for Cornmeal Porridge Recipe

  • 2.50 cup Cold milk
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 2 No.s Cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ound nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pimento berries
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Directions: Cornmeal Porridge Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 - heat some milk in a pan and add cornmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg, pimento and salt.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 - stir cook until it thickens.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 - add evaporated milk, vanilla and sugar to this, give it a stir and reduce the heat.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 - simmer until it thickens and then discard the cinnamon stick.
