This sweet and tangy dressing is incredibly delicious. The zing of the apple cider vinegar, hint of sweet pineapple and tangy lime juice, and warm heat of the freshly cracked black pepper is a sure winner! It is super easy to make and is perfect for salads as well as marinades.

  • 1/10 tablespoon Water
  • 1/10 teaspoon White sugar
  • 1/100 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 0.03 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 0.03 cup Honey
  • 1/5 tablespoon Pineapple juice
  • 1/5 teaspoon Lime juice
  • 1/10 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/10 teaspoon Coarsely cracked black pepper
  • 0.03 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.03 teaspoon Onion powder

Directions: Copycat Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • Combine water, sugar, and xanthan gum in a small bowl; whisk to create a smooth gel with no lumps. Combine vegetable oil, vinegar, honey, pineapple juice, lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne in a medium bowl.
  • Whisk in xanthan gum gel until dressing is smooth and all ingredients are incorporated. Transfer to a vinaigrette bottle and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Cooking Tips

  • Before serving the dressing, give it a good shake or whisk to be sure that the separated ingredients are combined.

Serving and Storage

  • You can serve them alongside salads, fresh greens, fruits, and vegetables. It also compliments chicken and rice when drizzled on top.
  • You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
