Easy, quick and famous chinese simple soup. Naengmyeon or raengmyŏn is a Korean noodle dish of long and thin handmade noodles made from the flour and starch of various ingredients, including buckwheat, potatoes, sweet potatoes, arrowroot starch, and kudzu. Naengmyeon was actually originally eaten during cold winters, however there are few things better than a cold bowl of naengmyeon to fight the summer heat.

Ingredients for Cold Noodles Recipe

  • 3 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorn
  • 2 tablespoon Dried chilli
  • 2 No.s Green Onions
  • 4 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • As required Hot water
  • 3 tablespoon Regular soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 cup Peanuts
  • 2 tablespoon Peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 No.s Noodles pack
  • As required Cucumbers
  • As required green onions
  • As required Cilantro
  • As required hard boil eggs

Directions: Cold Noodles Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Heat a wok and some oil in it. Add sichuan peppercorns when hot and stir fry. Then add dried red chillies and stir fry.

  • STEP 1.Take it out and keep aside. Now in the same oil stir fry some green onions and chopped garlic.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Pour hot water in it. Add regular soy sauce, chinese vinegar, sugar, sesame oil and salt to taste. Now stir lightly.

  • STEP 3.Now on a chopping board, roughly chop the stir fried chillies and peppercorns.

step 5

  • STEP 4.Take a cup of salted peanuts and roughly grate it.

  • STEP 5.In a small bowl take 2 tbsp peanut butter and add salt to it. Now add ½ cup water and mix. Keep stirring until a smooth paste is obtained.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Now take out the boiling water in a bowl with all the ingredients and combine the dish in a bowl (noodles, cilantro, peanut butter sauce, peanuts, green onions, peppercorns and chillies, vinegar and boiled eggs. Serve immedistely.

  • STEP 6.Serve immediately.
