All purpose flour

Rice flour

cardamom powder

Milk

coconut milk

Baking powder

oil for deep frying

In a bowl take all the dry ingredients together.

Slowly add milk and coconut milk to form a batter of pouring consistancy, a little thinner than dosa batter.

Heat oil in a pan, temperature should be medium and the mould should be sizzling hot.

Deep fry in oil, after few minutes slightly shake the mould holding the hand firmly, if the rose cake is not getting removed, use fork or knife to shake it out.

The colour and texture of the rose cake shall as shown in the picture below.

Remove and drain excess oil, store in an airtight container.

Please heat the mould every time before dipping in batter.
