  • 0.06 cup Gulkand
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ghee

  • STEP 1.In a non-stick pan, heat ghee and add desiccated coconut. Roast it on low flame until it turns golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add condensed milk and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 3.Add gulkand and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture comes together and forms a soft dough-like consistency.
  • STEP 4.Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and spread it evenly. Let it cool for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Once cooled, cut the burfi into desired shapes and garnish with chopped nuts.
  • STEP 6.Allow the burfi to set completely before serving. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
