STEP 1.In a bowl add coconut, sugar, flour, raisins, nutmeg, baking powder, butter and essence.
STEP 2.Mix all the dry ingredients together and then gradually add water in order to form a crumbly dough.
STEP 3.Preheat the oven at 350 degree f.
STEP 4.Grease a baking sheet and place small dough pieces on it.
STEP 5.Top the dough pieces with cherries.
STEP 6.Bake the coconut drops in a preheated oven for 40 minutes.
