Ingredients for Clay Pot Rice Recipe

  • 2 cup long grain rice
  • 4 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Ginger
  • 2 tablespoon chicken bouillon
  • 2 No.s ap cheong
  • 2 No.s duck sausage
  • 110 gram preserved pork belly
  • 110 gram kai lan stalks
  • As required Pre mix sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon White Pepper

step 1

  • STEP 1.To make pre mix sauce, mix oyster sauce, sesame oil and light soy sauce, rice wine, white pepper (all in the quantity mentioned) and mix well and keep aside.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Wash the rice twice and then drain.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Boil some water and then add rice in the pot. Then add minced ginger, chicken bouillon and stir lightly to bring a boil.

step 4

  • STEP 3.After 8 minutes add preserved pork belly, pork sausage and duck sausage and then simmer and keep for 5 minutes.

step 5

  • STEP 4.Then add kai lan stalks and pour the pre mix sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. Keep checking and then remove from the stove.
