Ingredients for Classic pomfret fry from Goa Recipe

  • 1 nos pomfret cleaned and head nd other appandages removed
  • As required table tennis size ball of tamarind with extract removed
  • As required five tsp red chilli powder
  • As required three of corriander three of jeera little haldi
  • As required rice flour little barik rawa oil for tava fry.

Directions: Classic Pomfret Fry From Goa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash clean the fish and apply lot of salt and keep aside. Make a paste of ginger garlic red chilli powder, haldi dhania jeera powder and tamarind extract ( depends on qty of fish ). Wash the fish and apply this paste to the fish. Leave aside for half hour atleast. Coat the iron girdle with oil. Make dusting powder of rice atta, little barik rawa little red chilli powder. Coat both side of the fish with this dusting powder. Put it on oiled girdle. Cook one side for 5 min then apply oil on open side of fish then turn it over. Cook for 5 min its done.
