Take the butter out of the fridge and let it rest in room temperature for a while so that it becomes easier to grate.
Cooking Directions
Grate the frozen butter.
Mix with plain flour and powdered sugar with a fork
Add vanilla essence to the egg. Mix the batter well.
Mix well until you have a nice, firm dough. Cover with rolling plastic and flatten it until it is round.
Take a tart tin. Place the dough with roller and dust with flour, use your fingers to adjust your dough around the edges of the tin.
Cut the excess. Bake at 170 degree for 25 minutes.
Cool and shave off the excess pastry
Grate the skins of lemons and orange. Add 2 whole eggs and 2 egg yolks
Add sugar and salt. Add the orange and lime zest and mix well.
Add the lime juice and orange juice, heavy cream and mix the batter well and add it to the pastry.
Bake in a preheated oven (160 degree) for 30 minutes and refrigerate before cutting.
Storage And Serving Method
Use a knife to cut a piece. Have as it, or pair with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
