  • 100 gram Powdered sugar
  • As required Vanilla essence
  • 5 Egg
  • 100 gram Frozen butter
  • As required Baking paper
  • 1 Orange
  • 3 Lime
  • 100 gram Sugar
  • 200 gram Heavy cream

How to Make Classic Lemon Tart Recipe

STEP 01

Grate the frozen butter. Mix with plain flour, powdered sugar with a fork

STEP 02

Add vanilla essence to the egg. Dough the batter well

STEP 03

Cover with rolling plastic and flatter into a round shape

STEP 04

Take a tart tin. Flat the dough with roller and dust with flour , put it in the tart tin

STEP 05

Cut the excess. Blind bake at 170 degree for 25 minutes.

STEP 06

Cool and shave off the excess pastry

STEP 07

Grate the skins of lemons and orange. Add 2 whole eggs and 2 egg yolks

STEP 08

Add sugar and salt. Add the orange and lime zest and mix well.

STEP 09

Add the lime juice and orange juice, heavy cream and strain the batter well and add it to the pastry.

STEP 10

Bake in a preheated 160 degree oven for 30 minutes and Refrigerate before cutting
