This is a very simple and easy kheer recipe compared to any other milk-based kheer or dessert and can be made with essential ingredients. Kheer recipe is a trendy dessert in India and most Southeast Asian countries. Each region has variations and is prepared and served accordingly. One such kheer variation is chowari payasam, made from South Indian cuisine. Kheer recipe is a typical and easy dessert made in most Indian households. It is a must-try dish by people of almost all age groups. Sabudana kheer takes priority as it does not require any preparation. For this recipe, do not use skim milk; use full cream milk to give a creamy and rich texture. You can make the same recipe by adding jaggery instead of sugar as an alternative. Adding jaggery makes it healthy but will change the colour to brown.
