How to Make Chowari Payasam Recipe

Cooking Directions

STEP 01

Preheat a pan. Add 3 cups of milk and bring to boil. Into the milk add 2 cups of sago rice and cook for 15 minutes on low-medium flame.

STEP 02

Stir continuously. The quantity of milk would have reduced to half when the rice gets cooked.

STEP 03

Add ½ cup of sugar and 4 cardamom split in halves. Stir well. In another frying add 1 tsp of oil and roast 2 tsp of cashew nuts and raisins each.

STEP 04

Garnish the payasam with cashews and raisins.
