One of the most iconic street foods and grilling recipes of Argentina as well as parts of Chile, Brazil, and Uruguay, the simple sandwich consists of a split long roll, a grilled or griddled chorizo link, and a slathering of oily, herby chimichurri on the bread.

Ingredients for Choripán Recipe

  • 1 No.s fresh chorizo sausages
  • 1 No.s 6 inch hero rolls
  • 0.06 cup finely chopped fresh Italian parsley leaves
  • 0.06 cup minced white onion
  • 1/4 No.s small garlic clove, grated on a microplane
  • 0.06 cup plus 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 0.13 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.06 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions: Choripán Recipe

  • STEP 1.take a grill pan and preheat it over medium-high heat. To this add the chorizo and it let cook for 30 -35 minutes. Keep on flipping it occasionally with tongs.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl add some parsely , onion , and garlic and stir it briefly to combine. Finally add olive oil , vinegar , salt and pepper.
  • STEP 3.Mix everything well and let it rest for 15 minutes at least. Place one cooked sausage into each roll.
