Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.To make Chole Misal, soak moth beans overnight and pressure cook them until tender.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add onions, ginger-garlic paste, and spices. Cook until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add tomatoes, cooked moth beans, and water. Simmer for 10 minutes until the flavors blend.
  • STEP 4.To make Pav Bhaji, boil and mash vegetables like potatoes, cauliflower, peas, and carrots.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pan, heat butter and add onions, ginger-garlic paste, and spices. Cook until onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 6.Add tomatoes, mashed vegetables, and pav bhaji masala. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 7.For serving, toast pav buns with butter and serve with the Chole Misal and Pav Bhaji mixture.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with chopped onions, coriander leaves, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve hot.
