  • 1.25 cup Water for pressure cooking or water for cooking in a pot
  • 1/2 tablespoon Golden raisins, optional
  • 1/2-3/4 tablespoon Cashews, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar or add as required
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red chilli powder or add as required
  • 1/2 Medium tej patta
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1-1.50 Dry red chilies
  • 1/2 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon Grated or finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh grated coconut or chopped coconut
  • 3/4 tablespoon Ghee or 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon
  • 1.50 Cloves
