  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.1. Soak the chickpeas overnight in water. Drain and rinse them before cooking.
  • STEP 2.2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute. Then, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 4.4. Add turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.5. Add the soaked and drained chickpeas to the pan. Stir well to coat them with the spices.
  • STEP 6.6. Add water and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover the pan, and simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until the chickpeas are tender.
