Ingredients for Chola Dal Barfi or Mohanthal Recipe

  • 250 gms Chana dal
  • 1.50 tsp Ghee
  • 1.50 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp Jaggery

Directions: Chola Dal Barfi Or Mohanthal Recipe

  • STEP 1.Pressure cook the chana Dal on slow flame for 15 mins
  • STEP 2.Check whether the chana dal has boiled or not, then keep it aside. Let it cool.
  • STEP 3.Now in a blender, thoroughly grind the chana dal mixture, add the nuts.
  • STEP 4.Now heat ghee in a kadai, first add jaggery, then the chana dal mixture. Mix well. Add the dry fruits . Now grease oil in a thali. Place the mixture evenly.
  • STEP 5.Now let it cool. Cut evenly in squares or diamond shape.
