Ingredients for Chocolate Ganache cake Recipe

  • 0.31 cup maida (all purpose flour)
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 A Pinch Pinch salt
  • 0.13 cup Melted butter or oil
  • 0.19 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Yoghurt
  • 1/4 tbsp Vinegar
  • 0.13 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 0.13 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cream
  • 37.50 gram Dark chocolate

Directions: Chocolate Ganache Cake Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl and sieve it. Preheat oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Add sugar to melted butter or oil and mix it very well. In another bowl, add yoghurt with one tablespoon of water and whisk it well. Now add vinegar and baking soda to the yoghurt mixture and whisk it so that the foam will appear.
  • STEP 3.Now in the flour mixture, add yoghurt mixture, sugar mixture, water and vanilla essence. mix everything very well. Mix everything quickly to make a smooth cake batter.
  • STEP 4.Pour batter in a greased baking tin and tap the tin lightly . Now bake the cake at 180 degree for 30 to 40 minutes. Check with a knife if the cake is done or not. If the knife comes out clean, the cake is ready otherwise it needs to be baked for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 5.Let it cool down for 20 to 30 minutes at room temperature. Now take it out from the tin and put it on a rack.Cover the cake with thick cloth and let it get completely cool.
  • STEP 6.When the chocolate sponge cools down completely, cut it horizontally in two circles. Whisk chocolate ganache so that it becomes a bit thick. Now apply chocolate ganache on 1 piece of the cake and cover it with the other piece. Now Frost the cake with the remaining chocolate ganache.
  • STEP 7.Onside make a flower round line with a thick whip cream.
  • STEP 8.Add some fresh chocolate chips, chocolate garnish toppers etc.on top. You can even use strawberries, oranges or chocolates. It's totally optional.
  • STEP 9.Ur cake is Ready to serve.
