Ingredients for Chinese Style Garlic Butter Scallops & Asparagus Recipe

  • 270 gram Scallops
  • 200 gram Asparagus
  • 2 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 300 gram Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Blacp peppercorn coarsely ground
  • As required Salt

Directions: Chinese Style Garlic Butter Scallops & Asparagus Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a frying pan melt 100 gm butter.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 place 270 gm scallops to one side in the pan and place 200 gm asparagus on the other side in the pan.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Keep turning the scallops and asparagus.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 when cooked remove scallops and asparagus from the pan and arrange in a serving dish.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 to the same pan add 2 cloves finely chopped garlic and ½ tsp coarsely ground blackpeppercorn and stir fry for a few seconds.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 add 200 gm butter and ¼ tsp salt. Stir till the butter has melted.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 pour over the asparagus and scallops. Serve hot.
