- 8 piece Pork shoulder cut into equal 2 kg
- 1.25 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper

- 100 gram Unsalted butter
- 80 gram Brown sugar
- 65 milliliter Cider vinegar or white vinegar
- 4 Garlic finely chopped cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

How to Make Chinese Style Garlic Butter Pork Roast Recipe
STEP 01
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C.
STEP 02
For the sauce, in a saucepan add 65 ml cider vinegar or white vinegar, 80 gm brown sugar, 100 gm unsalted butter, 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper.
STEP 03
Turn on the heat to medium and cook stirring continuously, till ingredients are well combined.
STEP 04
Remove from the heat. Keep aside.
STEP 05
Line a roasting tray with kitchen foil. On the tray, arrange 2 kg pork shoulder cut into 8 equal pieces.
STEP 06
Sprinkle the pork with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper.
STEP 07
Pour the prepared butter sauce all over the pork.
STEP 08
Then cove the tray with foil and place in the oven to cook for 1 hour 15 minutes.
STEP 09
Then remove from the oven, uncover the tray and turn the pieces of pork over.
STEP 10
Return the tray to the oven uncovered for another 15 minutes.
STEP 11
Remove from the oven and turn the pieces over again.
STEP 12
Spoon the juices from the tray all over the pieces of pork.
STEP 13
Return the tray to the oven for another 10 minutes.
STEP 14
Then remove from the oven and let the pork rest for another 5 minutes.
STEP 15
Serve on a bed of lettuce.
