Ingredients for Chinese Sausage With Snow Peas Recipe

  • 1/2 pound Snow peas
  • 1/2 pound Sausage
  • 4-5 Garlic chopped and crushed cloves Nos
  • 2 Ginger thinly shredded slices
  • 2 Red hot chilies sliced Nos
  • 2 piece Scallion, white part
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • As required White pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce

Directions: Chinese Sausage With Snow Peas Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 wash and string ½ lb snow peas.

step 2

  • STEP 2.1 cut ½ lb cantonese sausage into ¼ inch slices.

step 3

  • STEP 3.2 heat the wok and add little oil to lubricate the wok and then add the sausage.

step 4

  • STEP 4.3 if using a non stick oil then no oil needs to be added. The sausage will render some fat into the wok.

step 5

  • STEP 5.4 stir fry on medium heat for 2 to3 minutes till the sausage turns translucent. Take it out of the wok.

  • STEP 6.5 add a little more oil to the same wok and 4 to 5 chopped and crushed cloves of garlic. Do not mince to avoid burning. Add 2 slices of ginger thinly shredded, 2 red hot chillies sliced, 2 pieces of the white part of the scallion and ½ lb cleaned snow peas.

  • STEP 7.6 stir fry on medium heat till the snow peas are soft and most of the snow peas get black char marks.

  • STEP 8.7 then add ¼ tsp salt, some white pepper powder and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Mix well so ensure that the vegetables absorb the seasoning.

  • STEP 9.8 add the fried sausage back to the wok and toss together. Turn off the what.
