Directions

How to Make Chinese Sausage With Snow Peas Recipe

STEP 01

1 wash and string ½ lb snow peas.

STEP 02

1 cut ½ lb cantonese sausage into ¼ inch slices.

STEP 03

2 heat the wok and add little oil to lubricate the wok and then add the sausage.

STEP 04

3 if using a non stick oil then no oil needs to be added. The sausage will render some fat into the wok.

STEP 05

4 stir fry on medium heat for 2 to3 minutes till the sausage turns translucent. Take it out of the wok.

STEP 06

5 add a little more oil to the same wok and 4 to 5 chopped and crushed cloves of garlic. Do not mince to avoid burning. Add 2 slices of ginger thinly shredded, 2 red hot chillies sliced, 2 pieces of the white part of the scallion and ½ lb cleaned snow peas.

STEP 07

6 stir fry on medium heat till the snow peas are soft and most of the snow peas get black char marks.

STEP 08

7 then add ¼ tsp salt, some white pepper powder and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Mix well so ensure that the vegetables absorb the seasoning.

STEP 09

8 add the fried sausage back to the wok and toss together. Turn off the what.

STEP 10

9 serve hot with white rice.
