Ingredients for Chinese Pork Soup Recipe

  • 100 gram hylocereus undatus
  • 20 gram sweet and bitter apricot kernels
  • 3 No.s dried figs
  • 2 No.s Dates
  • 3 No.s Carrots
  • 2 No.s Corn
  • 600 gram pork shoulder
  • 5 liter Water
  • As required Salt

step 1

  • STEP 1.Soak hylocereus undatus in water until it softens. Remove all the dirt in water.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Undatus can be eaten when cooked so cut into strands.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Wash the pork, kernels, figs and dates. Leave for later use.

step 4

  • STEP 3.Blanch the pork in boiling water. Bring to boil and cook for 1 more min, wash and leave for later.

step 5

  • STEP 4.Boil 5 liters of water and add all the ingredients in and add apricots, kernels,figs,dates and pork.

step 6

  • STEP 5.Stir well and cook covered on high heat.

step 7

  • STEP 6.Bring to boil and cook for 15 minutes then lower the heat and cook for 1 hour 30 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 7.After about 2 hours add salt and soup is ready to be served.
