Ingredients for Chinese Peking House Fried Rice Recipe

  • 400 gram Cooked Rice
  • 30 gram Fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1/2 Ginger finely chopped cm
  • 1 No.s Spring onions finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • As required Salt

Directions: Chinese Peking House Fried Rice Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil to smoking point.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 add ½ cm finely chopped ginger, 2 cloves finely chopped garlic,1 finely chopped spring onion and 1 tsp chinese five spice. Mix well.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 then add 400 gm cooked rice and stir to mix all the ingredients. Break up any lumps of rice.add salt to taste.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 stir fry for 9 minutes until rice is heated through and becomes fluffy.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 add 1 to 2 tbsp hoisin sauce and 1 tsp soy sauce.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 stir fry for 2 minutes till sauces are well incorporated in the rice.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 next add 1 tbsp sesame oil, 30 gm finely chopped chives.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 stir fry for a few seconds.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 transfer to a dish and serve.
