Ingredients for Chinese Cocktail Salmon Curry Recipe

  • 350 gram Salmon Fillet
  • 1 No.s Red Onion
  • 1 No.s Red chilli
  • 3 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 5 gram Ginger
  • 1 No.s Banana
  • 150 gram Cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoon White wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Star anise powder
  • 2 teaspoon Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon Curry powder
  • As required Cocktail sticks
  • As required Salt

Directions: Chinese Cocktail Salmon Curry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.place 350 gm salmon fillet cut into 1 inch cubes in a mixing bowl, add salt to taste, 1 tsp lime juice, 3 tsp white wine, ½ tsp white pepper and mix together well.
  • STEP 1.Leave to marinate for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 2.in a wok heat 1 tsp oil, add 1 finely diced red onion, 3 thinly sliced cloves of garlic, 5 gm thinly sliced ginger, 1 finely chopped red chili, 2 bay leaves ,1 tsp star anise powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 cloves, ½ tsp chili powder, ½ tsp cinnamon powder, 1 tsp curry powder and stir fry for a minute. add water and bring to a boil. Then simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 3.when liquid is reduced and thick, transfer all the contents of the wok to a food processor and blend to make a smooth sauce. heat theremaining1 tsp olive oil, place the cubes of salmon in the hot oil and fry for 1 minute, then turn over and fry the other side for 1 minute and turn over again.
  • STEP 4.place a slice of banana and cucumber on each piece of salmon and insert a cocktail stick in each to keep them in place. pour the sauce over the salmon and bring to a boil. transfer the salmon cocktail sticks to a plate and spoon thickened sauce over them. Serve hot.
