Ingredients for Chilli Pan Mee Recipe

  • 150 gram Chicken
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 500 milliliter Water
  • 20 gram dried anchovies
  • 5 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Nos shallot
  • 1 Nos garlic clove
  • 1 Nos fresh chilli peppers
  • 15 gram dried shrimps
  • 2 Nos eggs
  • 2 Nos wheat noodles
  • As required Chinese flowering cabbage/soy chum

Directions: Chilli Pan Mee Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Marinate the meat pieces with soy sauce,oyster sauce,dark soy sauce,pepper and sugar and keep it aside

step 2

  • STEP 2.For chilli topping grind fresh chillies and dried chillies

step 3

  • STEP 3.Separately grind dried shrimps coarsely

step 4

  • STEP 4.Add water in a pot and add dried anchovies(1o gm) and let it cook for 30 mins at low flame

  • STEP 1.add oil in a pan & heat it

step 7

  • STEP 1.now add the remaining dried anchovies in the pan and saute until golden brown & keep it aside

  • STEP 1.using the same pan add sliced shallots,minced garlic and saute it

step 9

  • STEP 1.now add the marinated meat and saute it until fragrant

step 10

  • STEP 1.add oil in a pan & heat it,add dried shrimps & saute followed by ground chillies.

  • STEP 1.continue sauteing until colour changes dark & keep it aside

step 12

  • STEP 1.now prepare poached eggs by stirring water in one direction,then add eggs and cook it for 3 mins and then take it out from boiling water.

step 13

  • STEP 1.boil wheat noodles until cooked

step 14

  • STEP 1.now assemble the dish in a bowl,place wheat noodles,fried anchovies,minced meating,chilli topping,choy sum and poached eggs.

  • STEP 1.lastly,garnish with spring onions & fried shallots.
