Ingredients for Chilli Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

  • 2 No.s Chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 1 No.s Green peppers cut into thin strips
  • 1 No.s Red pepper cut into thin strips
  • 3 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 1 No.s Red chili chopped
  • 1 No.s Egg whisked
  • 50 gram Plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon Chili sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato puree
  • 1 cup Water
  • As required Salt
  • 3 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Chilli Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a mixing bowl add 2 chicken breasts cut into thin strips and 1 egg that has been whisked. Mix together well.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 then add 50 gm plain flour and mix into the chicken to ensure all the pieces are well coated.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 in a wok heat 3 tbsp of oil on high heat. When hot add the chicken pieces and fry till golden brown. Stir the chicken and push the pieces apart to prevent them from sticking to each other.

  • STEP 4.4 when the chicken is evenly golden brown on all sides and cooked through, add 1 red and 1 green bell pepper that have been cut in strips. Stir fry for 1 minute.

  • STEP 5.5 remove the chicken and peppers and keep aside.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 to the hot wok add 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 1 chopped red chilli, 1 tbsp chili sauce,1 tbsp light soy sauce, 2 tbsp tomato puree,1 cup water and stir together well.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 bring this to a boil.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 then return the chicken and peppers to the wok and add salt to taste.

step 9

  • STEP 1.stir fry for 2 minutes to ensure that all the pieces are well coated with the sauce. And serve with steamed rice or any desired rice.

step 10

  • STEP 9.10 turn off the stove and serve hot with rice.
