  • 1 cup Carrots, Peeled And Chopped
  • 2.25 En Chillies
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • as per your need A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger, Grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tamarind Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Start by peeling and chopping the carrots into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add the chopped carrots, green chillies, ginger, and garlic to the pan. Saute for a few minutes until the carrots are slightly tender.
  • STEP 4.Now, add tamarind paste, salt, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Remove from heat and let the mixture cool down.
  • STEP 6.Transfer the cooled mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • STEP 7.Heat oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 8.Pour this tempering over the blended chutney and mix well.
  • STEP 9.Chilli carrot chutney is ready to be served. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
