Ingredients for Chikoo halwa Recipe

  • 0.33 Cup Chikoos
  • 0.67 tbsp Ghee
  • 0.08 cup Khoya
  • 0.08 cup Dry fruits ( chopped )
  • 0.33 tsp Cardamom powder

Directions: Chikoo Halwa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Peel the chikkus and mash them with hand ( after removing the seeds).
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan and fry dry nuts. Remove and keep aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add mashed chikus and saute for few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add khoya and sugar.
  • STEP 5.Keep stirring till the mixture becomes thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 6.Add elaichi powder and fried dry nuts.
