An absolute droolicious, lip-smacking North Indian Starter that will make you fall in love with it, with the first bite itselfitself. It was traditionally made in a clay oven also called ‘Tandoor’. But I have made it in Microwave oven.

Ingredients for Chicken Tikka #ChickenRecipes #FEM5K Recipe

  • As Required first marinade
  • 1/2 Tsp inger garlic paste
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 4 Pieces boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-size
  • 1/2 Tsp cornflour
  • As Required mustard oil
  • 1/2 Tsp tandoori masala
  • 1/2 Tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 Tsp aram masala powder
  • A Pinch and black pepper powder
  • As Required Salt

Directions: Chicken Tikka #ChickenRecipes #FEM5K

  • STEP 1.Add the ingredients for the first marinade in a bowl or container and mix well.
  • STEP 2.Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight.
  • STEP 3.Add the ingredients for the second marinade in the bowl and mix well. Keep the marinated chicken aside for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Arrange the marinated chicken in the skewers along with onion and capsicum. Place the skewers on a baking tray. Grill for 10-12 minutes and then rotate the skewers.
  • STEP 5.Grill for another 10-12 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Increase the oven temperature to 420 Degrees F and broil the skewers for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly charred.
  • STEP 7.Add more butter if you like and remove the tikka from the oven. Serve hot .
