  • 1/2 Cup Green moong dal
  • 1/4 Tbsp Split bengal
  • 25 g Chicken boneless(very small pieces)
  • 1/2 Tsp Refined oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Butter
  • 1/4 Tbsp Big onion chopped
  • As Required Ginger paste
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 Tsp chopped green chilli
  • 1/4 Tbsp Chopped tomato
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin powder
  • As Required Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • As Required Garam masala
  • 1/4 Tsp kasuri methi
  • 1/2 Tsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • To Taste Salt

Directions: Chicken Tadka #ChickenRecipes #FEM5K

  • STEP 1.Soak dal(green moong dal and split Bengal gram) overnight. Drained water. Boiled dal with water and salt.
  • STEP 2.In a Kadai add refined oil and 1 teaspoon butter. Add onion and fry until golden. Then add chicken pieces, fry chicken for 2 minutes on medium heat. Now add half teaspoon ginger paste and 2 teaspoons garlic paste and Chopped green chillies. Fry for 1 minute.
  • STEP 3.Add cumin powder, coriander powder, half teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder, half teaspoon garam masala powder and Chopped tomatoes and salt. Saute the mixture until oil separates.
  • STEP 4.Add boiled dal mix and cook for 3 minutes. Add 1 cup water boiled for 1 minute on high heat.
  • STEP 5.After add 1 teaspoon butter,kasuri Methi and Chopped coriander leaves. Mix all ingredients nicely.
  • STEP 6.Turn off the flame.
  • STEP 7.For Smokey flavour burn charcoal, put a bowl center of the food. Place hot charcoal inside the bowl, pour half teaspoon of ghee on the charcoal. It will being to smoke. Cover the Kadai immediately. Leave it for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes. After 5 minutes open the lid remove the bowl with charcoal.
  • STEP 8.Chicken Tadka ready to serve. Serve hot with hot roti and onion rings.
