Ingredients for Chicken Parmesan Recipe

  • As required Ingredients for Chicken Parmesan
  • 4 pound chicken breаsts cut in half for cutlets 1 1/2
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 As required salt, or tsp
  • 1/2 As required black pepper, or tsp
  • 2 large eggs beaten until frothy
  • 1/2 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoon extra light olive oil to sauté or as needed
  • 24 ounce marinara sauce
  • 4 ounce mozzarella cheese
  • As required Easy Homemade Marinara Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 yellow onion medium
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon basil or parsley
  • As required finely minced

Directions: Chicken Parmesan Recipe

  • STEP 1.Remove fat from boneless chicken breast. and slice each breast into half to create 6 chicken breast pieces.
  • STEP 2.Place chicken breast in a bowl, add 1 tbsp salt, and cover with cold water.
  • STEP 3.In a bowl, combine eggs with milk and stir in well.
  • STEP 4.Season chicken breast with salt, garlic powder, and pepper then massage in well.
  • STEP 5.Coat chicken with flour and shake off excess flour. Fully coat it with the egg wash and drain the excess.
  • STEP 6.Coat with breadcrumbs, shake off excess breadcrumbs, and sit aside for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Place the pan over medium heat and add vegetable oil.
  • STEP 8.After 8 minutes, add 3 chicken cutlets at a time and fry for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  • STEP 9.Place all chicken cutlets in baking pan and preheat the oven at 350 degrees
  • STEP 10.Coat each cutlet well with sauce and combine parmesan and mozzarella, add to chicken, then top with parsley flakes.
  • STEP 11.Bake for 15 minutes.
